A lovely garnet hue greets the eye when you first meet this wine. A nose of baked caramel apple precedes a flavor explosion of mulberry jam and hints of soft sweet tobacco. Velvety tannins follow through on the lingering finish. Pairs wonderfully with pepper steaks, robust spaghetti and meatballs with parmesan cheese, blackberry cobbler, and dark chocolate.
